All that you are is all that I’ll ever need

Man! Can’t believe that week 3 is about to end. This week flew by super quick because I was in Seattle for most of it!
Seattle was so much fun, got eat a ton of food and got to see friends that I haven’t seen in over 5 years.
That being said… boy am I behind this week! lol. Need to for sure catch up on everything.
This week in class we learned about memory virtualization.
I had no clue that there was different types of memory such as stack and automatic memory.
I also had no clue about segmentation. Segmentation is a memory-management scheme that supports the programmer view of memory. A logical address space is a collection of segments. Each segment can start with 0 and that virtual addresses are <segment #, offset within segment>.
That’s all for now. Let’s hope I get back on track next week!
