Bilbo Baggins
Today is a sad day. Sir Ian Holm, acclaimed British actor known for playing Bilbo Baggins in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ triology has passed away. LOTR is my favorite trilogy series of all time, and it deeply saddens me that he has passed away during such an unfortunate time.
Today is also the last day of our course, Intro to Databases. Two courses down so far 🙂 Here are the last questions that we need to answer!
In your own words what is a data warehouse and why is it important?
- A data warehouse is a data collection that is meant to be used by the company at large.
Briefly name and describe 3 things that you learned in this course that you think will be important in your future career.
- I learned how to run SQL queries, this will be extremely important to fetch data.
- I learned more about NOSQL databases. I had a small understanding of them, but this course taught me so much more and I understand the differences between NOSQL and SQL databases now.
- I learned more about the history of databases.
